Visitors and golf societies are always welcome to enjoy the course, clubhouse and friendly atmosphere at Dunscar.
Everything you need before your round.
We want your visit to Dunscar to be as straightforward and enjoyable as possible.
Please take a few moments before your visit to familiarise yourself with the information below, including arrival procedures, facilities and important information about the course.
Procedure on arrival
Visitors should report to the Club Professional at the Pro Shop at least 15 minutes before play.
Please pay any green fee or outstanding balance and produce a handicap certificate if requested. Late arrival may result in cancellation of the booking and inconvenience to other players.
Ride-on buggies
Ride-on buggies are available for hire at Dunscar.
Trolleys
A limited number of electric and pull trolleys are available from the Professional.
We recommend booking these well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Catering
A comprehensive catering service is available in the clubhouse.
Any specific catering requirements should be arranged at least 48 hours in advance.
Changing facilities
Full shower and changing facilities are available in both the men's and ladies' locker rooms.
Security at the club.
The club is not liable for visitors' property. Please look after your belongings at all times and do not leave valuables unattended in vehicles.
The clubhouse and locker rooms are protected by card and keypad entry systems. The Professional will provide the daily access codes when you arrive.
On the course.
Local rules, water hazards and out of bounds information are shown on the summer course card. There are also a few Dunscar-specific points visitors should be aware of.
1st & 17th
The lane alongside the 1st fairway and in front of the 17th tee is a public right of way.
Please allow vehicles or pedestrians to pass safely out of range before playing your shot.
Blue lines
Some greens have a blue line marked in front of them.
Please do not take trolleys or buggies inside these lines, and give all greens and tees a wide berth throughout the year.
The 5th
The 5th is a par 5 which doglegs to the right, meaning its green cannot be seen from the tee.
The green visible straight ahead from the 5th tee is the par-3 6th green.

Visitors and societies are welcome on weekdays and Sundays.
No fixed package. Just what you need.
Rather than limiting groups to a standard package, we prefer to build your visit around your particular requirements and budget.
